This is a topic that I know is interesting to many people - Sore thumbs. Although DeQuervains is focused in the thumb area, it can often cause pain up into the forearm. And it can really interrupt your life. Take a look.

Hi Virginia:

Talk about fate, I just got the card you had sent me for New Years from my adult daughter today when she decided to clean her room/lol.

Just wanted to say a BIG thank you and sorry it took me this long to visit again.

Yes, sore index finger (right hand) is my challenge right now with spending a lot of time tapping away on my laptop now that someone gave me a second hand one in January. It is like my "workoholic" habit has returned. The right index finger seems to control a lot since I am not using a mouse. May have to bring out the ice pack smile

I had mean't to visit when I returned to the forum and somehow got sidetracked. Yes, being 54 this month has certainly brought more "senior" moments my way wink

Lots of hugs,
I had this thumb problem a few years ago- it was awful!
