I shop my Perfumes online, and they are imitation perfumes of BRAND perfumes, from Coach,Juicy Couture, Victorias Secret ETC.
SAD BUT TRUE STORY , THEY SMELL just like the original ones, So i stopped buying original perfumes to save money and now i get the imitations...
Have you ever used imitation perfumes?
If so where do you shop at?
I remember getting some of these in the aerosol spray cans from drugstores in the late 80's early 90's - remember when Giorgio and Poison were all the rage?
One simply had to look around for a brand that really did smell right!
Nowadays,t eh technology has come so far that new perfumes pop up like crazy. It's harder to tell the difference between an expensive and knockoff perfume. The complexity is sometimes the only giveaway between a cheap brand and an expensive brand, and then the knockoffs are less expensive while maintaining complexity.
I haven't purchased any of the imitation perfumes in recent years, but i have seen them at major discount retailers like Walmart and Rite-Aid. There were samples out so that customers could smell them, try them on and see how true they were to the originals.
I alway use some cheap ones, they are not so expensive so that I can afford it. But the smell is good, I think if you like the fragrance, it is ok. I often buy it in cosmetic shops, they are not brands.
A friend of mine lives in a town with a Walgreens - she told me she recently bought a designer imitation perfume from that store, and is really pleased with the cost and fragrance of the product.
Cheap fragrances didn't have the long time smell as expensive one's. What you can say?
I never bought an imitation perfume and never will either. When young I told myself that if I did not have the money to buy the original then I would just go without it.
