I do the same thing every year - buy the goodies; cook; have the kids and MIL over; eat; and clean up.

Last year was a bit different as we went to PA and visited one of the kids and went to the Macy Day parade. We still did everything else the same - dinner cooked while we were in NYC and the turkey was done when we got home. We just had to fix the trimmings.
