I swore off of ebay after being a 100% member since 1999, because I was so sick of their policies and the plethora of spammers on there. I finally caved in recently, though, and used them to list my 78 records. I needed to sell them and there really weren't any other good options.

So far the process has been smooth and encouraging. They fixed some of the listing issues that they used to have.

At this point I'm getting payments in and am preparing the records for shipment. Now we'll see if the scam activity begins - i.e. if people claim they didn't get the record, and try to get their money back. I am hoping it all goes smoothly.

At one time I had a thriving business on Ebay. I avoided all of their fees with the assistance of an Ebay community member named Bullseye Bob. Bob helped folks with programming etc. Life was great. And then the rules started changing so fast I could not keep up, and Ebay (Feebay) gave Bob some award and flew he and his wife out to headquarters (I have all sorts of thoughts on why that happened, Bob had become a HUGE opinion leader), and so I decided to use Half.com because it was easier. And then Ebay bought Half.com. I am back to garage sales and consignment. So I hope things continue to go well for you Lisa. Maybe I'll dip my toe back in the Ebay waters if you have good experiences.
