So, do you think he'll FINALLY end up doing some time?

Have you read "If I Did It?" What a joke. Seriously. I read it and was like, what?! I don't understand why this man is not already in prison. I guess his ego will finally get the best of him, maybe.

I am glad I am not on the jury. I think he did it this time as well - and I have to admit, I would love to see him to the time he deserves.

Perhaps with the Nicole/Ron crime, if he had gone out of sight for a while instead of throwing and attending parties and playing golf.....maybe...eh - I still think I would have felt like he did it.......but to be so arrogant afterwards...

He's guilty. He's guitly of the murder and he's guilty of the armed robbery. If he doesn't do some time, then there is something rotten in the state of Denmark.

When is the sentencing? I want to be there! He should have been put away a long time ago.

Hope he gets what's coming to him! Also hope he goes to jail and is put in with the BAD Boys and doesn't get any special privileges. You do the crime, you pay the time. So many have waited a long time for this.

I was working in a call center when the verdict came in from the first trial. Man - the phones were quiet - every person in America must have stopped what they were doing then. When it was announced that he was free - we had a few people that cheered - cheered???

I wonder if people will be watching and waiting like that now?

On this morning's news, he was found guilty on all counts, and could be sentenced to as much as life.
The announcement of his first acquittal was one of those OMG moments that you remember all your life. I was driving home and can still tell you the exact spot on the highway that I was passing when I heard the news that he was found not guilty. I couldn't believe my ears!
The arrogance of the man, before and especially since that crime, is astounding. May he be locked away forever!
But he WAS a wonderful football player; I wish that was the only thing to remember about him.

I knew it! Do you think he will spend the rest of his life behind bars? Maybe this really is pay back time, huh?

Although I do feel like most of you, he got what is coming, a part of me feels a little badly for his family. He does have kids and that must be really hard on them.

Kids that will always wonder whether or not their dad really did it - I am sure he told them he didn't.........Just like Drew Petersen and his wife, Stacy - the kids are the real ones with the lifetime burden.

Nah, life in prison really means ten years. He will probably do two years.

I agree, Vance. I get low-time, but like most of you here, I feel he's absolutely, guilty of both crimes.

It seems like these types of people keep pushing the bar, suffering from "God" complex, untouchable. I think they question it all, after awhile, and push even harder. It's kind of boring if you think about it, shocking the public and no body cares. Like pay attention to me, kind of thing.

Negative is just a big yawn w/out repercussion...

Kids also almost always give their parents the halo effect. Unless it's something that is directly associated with them but even then they tend to defend the parents actions, even blaming themselves. It's too bad too, taking on that kind of responsability at such a young age. It can lead to all sorts of rebellious actions

DEC 5 is the sentencing. On the kidnapping charges alone it's a minumum of 15 to life with paroll after 5 years possible.

I won't say what my opinion on the Nicole/Ron murders is, because it is moot since he was not convicted. If we are to have any faith in our system of justice, we must abide by the courts verdict.

However, I believe he DID do these crimes and he was convicted like he should have been.

He is also guilty of bad judgment (ie, the book, the road rage incident, etc) and he is paying for his actions now and in the future.

Boo Hoo. No Johnnie Cochran to save O.J.'s butt this time. frown I guess his dream team of lawyers was too busy in other filings to help him this time. Somewhere in Heaven Nichole must be grinning like a Cheshire cat.
