Hi, I don't have fibro but I've studied a lot about nutrition and how it can be used to optimize health, no matter what your health challenge. I'd like to recommend a book I've been reading by Dr. Paul Yanick called Neuro Nutrition.

He's had success with treating nerve disorders, tinnitis and fibro using nutrition. The book is only digital but if you don't have a kindle, you can read it on your computer.

My own thoughts on a fibro friendly diet would be pure natural foods, lots of fruits and veggies, take the chemicals, sugar, processed foods and toxins out of your diet and your life as much as possible. Even eat organic if you can.

Thanks for the info on Neuro Nutrition. I don't have a lot of money so sometimes it is hard to buy all the foods for these special diets. I'm on disability with no help with foodstamps and my diet is really bad. I live on cereal and ice cream basically. After my last med change I put of 25 pounds and craved sugar. I also lost interest in most foods that I used to like, ie healthy ones. I think the meds slowed down my metabolism along with my bowels because I have to take something for constipation. My taste buds just don't seem to crave anything anymore unless it's ice cream or cereal. Weird?

The sad part is that I find the junk food is cheaper than the healthy food.
