Hulu announced today that it is getting into the feature documentary business. Its first release will be "The Beatles: Eight Days a Week", directed by Ron Howard. The doc has the cooperation of Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the widows of John Lennon and George Harrison (Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison). The producers promise rare and exclusive footage for long-time fans. The movie will be released in theaters and on Hulu sometime this fall.

Update: Set your DVR for Saturday, November 25th at 7 PM Central Time. "The Beatles: Eight Days a Week" will be screening on PBS Thanksgiving weekend.
