Have you ever shopped in a consignment shop? If so, what did you buy? Was it a gift or was it something for your home?

I've never bought anything, but I have sold my crafts at a consignment shop. The shop was in a little crafting village and sold mainly home decor, but it was all hand made items and it was beautiful.

I usually donate most of my household things to Reuse centers or Purple Heart, but one year I had decided to sell some of my more expensive small items at a consignment shop. I got 60% profit on everything that sold. I received 3 checks within a 6 month period and made about $300. It's amazing how much value your old stuff has when someone goes by the book and looks up your items and marks them appropriately for sale.
