I have so many, and I always love finding more of them, and I hope you share yours. Here are a few of mine: embracing a puppy and smelling the sweetness around her ears... letting my eyes follow a flock of little birds fly together like a quick blustering cloud... letting my eyes fully absorb all of the colors from a beautiful sunset... finding beauty in nature during a dreary day... holding my mother...a child's eyes (any child), eating McDonald's french fries for dinner and nothing else, thinking about the future.
My children giggling, a relaxing bubble bath <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
My favorite things?

I love to garden and dance. Gardening especially is such a total activity. It nourishes my spirit (communing with nature), body (great exercise!) and mind (figuring out where to plant flowers and veggies and how to use the land to keep them with just the right amount of sun and water) lovers .

I love sipping a glass of port by a fire in the fireplace, curling up with a good book and losing myself in it. Going for a long walk in a new and interesting place, with lots of birds and sights and sounds to explore.
Sipping on a cup a wonderful tea blend of:
white tea (peoney)
rose petals
rosehips

Yum!!!

Ahhhhhhh... The simple things in life. Taking a nap with my 15 adopted cats. Making medicine bags with herbs and tiny treasures for my friends. Making homemade hot fudge sundaes on a rainy day. Making a dreamcatcher with no idea of how it will turn out. Spending a day at the petting zoo with my grandchildren.. and going on a merry-go-round with them also. Making pizza from scratch with unusual toppings like peanuts and pretzels. Taking a summer walk in the rain.. and splashing through every puddle I come to. Playing dress up with my granddaughter. Bringing a roll of quarters with me to the mall so I can get a prize from every gumball machine I find. Making snow angels. Watching the children's eyes who visit here when they offer a shiny button from the button jar to the fairies who live in my fairy garden. I guess the simple things are the things we can see through the eyes of our inner child. Watching Peter Pan, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, and The Neverending Story with my husband on a cold and rainy evening while eating crackerjacks and fighting over the toy surprises. Playing is such a simple thing to do.. but such a hard thing to remember to find time for. Love and Light Linda
