The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency (comes on the Oxygen channel, 10PM Easter) starts its new season tonight.

And one of the new male models, Martin, is completely deaf. He requires an interpretor to be on set with him. But he is so CUTE! He looks like a little boy to me, not the sexy, hot type- but he is very good looking, All-American boy type.

Here's an interview with him if you want to see it:

Thanks. He is nice clean looking isn't he
OK, I'm actually watching the season premier right now (missed it the first time around last week).

Martin is so CUTE! His smile is just wonderful.

I am wondering, though, how difficult it is going to be for him to do photo shoots. From watching this show last season - there are people shouting instructions all over the place. How is he going to be able to keep up with multiple sets of instructions through one interpreter?

How common a problem is this in the "regular" (non-modeling) world? The keeping up with more than one conversation, I mean.
When you are deaf keeping up with just one converstaion is difficult let alone more than one (when you're trying to lip-read).
I am a late deafened adult and not a signing deaf person (although I learned Auslan for a short time). Sign language can be very expressive and since it probably his first language, if he has a good interpreter he should cope.
