I recently watched a documentary on "Rods".....cigar-shaped objects that move extremely fast through the air. What do you think?

I'm on the fence about "rods" because if a light souce is illuminating an insect or other object that passes in front of your camera at high speed it can sometimes look like what's described as "rods". The rods theory is so subjective...it's hard to get a definitive answer.

I saw a documentary here in Canada on Rods, a few years ago. And have listened to Coast to Coast AM when the subject is the topic of the night.

I find it fascinating. In the doc that i saw, the filmmaker was pondering the possibility, that the Rods were Angels, Light Beings, from another dimension.


A lot to think about.

I also understand Lissa's pov. If my Grandmother is going to show up in a photo i snap, she better show up as Grama who baked me cookies, not just a streak of light, which illuminates my ineptitude in photography.

I agree if Grama wants me to see her and know it is her she better be in little old grama fashion and form not a blob of light that could be just about anything including my not to great picture taking skills to a light bulb going out! anyways... that is just my way of thinking. I mean hows to say that blob of light isnt Grandpa? or and angel or a firefly? Maybe some poor lost soul wondering why you took there picture and are calling them grandma? poor ghost is confused enough with out you thinking they are someone else! Its hard work being a ghost dont cha know?
