My husband and I have been trying to conceive since June of 2002. After being frustated with so many failed attempts and increasing abdominal pain I went to see a new Ob/Gyn who believed I had endometriosis. I was correctly diagnosed during and treated with laparaoscopy in July of this year. The doctor was very optimistic and expected us to become pregnant within three months. I have been through two ovulation cycles already and haven't become pregnant yet. Was the doctor a little too optomistic or will it take longer than three months in reality? (We have mastered all the baby making "skills"- temp checks, ovulation tests, charting, lying still and propped up, boxers instead of briefs...) Any advice?
