festival features bands from southwest LA, fresh boiled crawfish, art/craft vendors, gumbo cooking contest, dance contest, local school art contest display,
Jamie Oliver 'The Naked Chef' on site (pending)

Currently accepting applications for Gumbo Cooking Contest 1st Place $1,000 and People's Choice Award

Festival proceeds benefit 'No Music Left Behind' program which recycles band instruments donating them to deserving students, schools and musicians.
