Did you catch the return of The Sopranos? What did you think? Was it worth waiting a year for?
I was actually really afraid to watch it because the promos all talked about how violent it would be. I really don't want to watch Tony beat up Carmela for example, that would make me really upset. So I was in a way happy that it was "more of the same" and not an escalation.
The Tony/Melfi situation bothers me a lot since she is trying to help him and he is turning into an evil stalker there.
I think I heard that this is NOT the last season - they're going to do at least one more - so maybe it won't be as "last scene everyone dies" as I had worried it would be ...
Yea, one more season after this. Then possibly a movie. That hasn't been confirmed yet. Read an article with David Chase and he said it's hard to not think about working on the show.
They can't kill everyone off. Maybe just a main character like Carmela or Silvio. People are kinda expecting Tony to die in the last season.
But wouldn't that be one of the more obvious endings.
An acquaintance of my exhusband's had a bit recurring role on the show a few season's back and he kept trying to get to find out how the season was going to end.
All I know is that production for Sopranos starts early January 2005... right around the corner...
Production starts this spring and I believe the show comes back in July.
Was anyone surprised Carmella slept with Tony?
It starts again March 12! I can't wait.... it's by far my favorite show on TV. I also love "Deadwood", although my opinion of it went up significantly after my guy was in an episode and we got to hang out on the set.
Any Sopranos fans getting excited for the old episodes that A&E is playing in January? Ive been a hardcore fan since day one. The gents at A&E are quite smart... they're also doing a game that goes along w/ the show where you can win $100,000
