Hello Everyone - and I hope you all celebrated Christmas in just the right way to suit you and the Season. Below are two very different references to Christmas - maybe you will like them for what they say to you? 'I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. I will live in the Past, the Present, and the Future. The Spirits of all Three shall strive within me. I will not shut out the lessons that they teach…' Ebenezer Scrooge. One of my annual treats is to read Dickens' Christmas Carol - I am a total Dickens fan and the story always lifts my spirits as it offers me much in terms of renewal and personal growth; doesn't matter how often I read it! The second is a quote as you see below - I thought it also gave much mindfood ... I sometimes think we expect too much of Christmas Day. We try to crowd into it the long arrears of kindliness and humanity of the whole year. As for me, I like to take my Christmas a little at a time, all through the year.- Ray Stannard Baker, 1870 – 1946. I do hope your 2013 Christmas was a fine one and that your 2014 New Year will be a good one for you and yours.

I, too, am a fan of Charles Dickens. And I am implored, just as a believer of God, to hold the Spirit of Christmas in my heart each and everyday. It is more than just a day, but a way of life. A way of being that not only brings peace to the soul, but love and kindness to others, as well!
