YOU ARE ARTEMIS
Animal: Deer
Color: Silver
Artemis is the huntress, the twin sister of Apollo, sun god. Artemis is often associated with the moon. She is beautiful, with wolf-like eyes.
Artemis loves the wilderness and all wild animals. She is a protector of small children. She is the goddess of the hunt, of wilderness, of nature. She uses a silver bow and shoots silver arrows.
I got the same exact thing! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Haha, me too! Guess we have a lot in common <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

And the kids and my fiance' have been sick off and on for the past 2 weeks. I can't wait for spring so i can air this house out!

That's so great that you are taking on the self development site! I am so ready for spring. I can feel it in the air and it is definitely givng me spring fever!! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
hmm...I was beginning to worry that Artemis was the only answer..lol
YOU ARE ASTARTE
Animal: Horses
Color: Pink
Astarte is the goddess of gardens, of fertility, of nature and order. She loves animals of all shapes and sizes and helps and protects them. She is associated with the moon.
Astarte is very caring. She is prayed to if a woman wishes to become pregnant, or if a pet owner wishes health and happiness for his or her pets. She loves gardens and meadows.
Too many Artemis' out there
I Am PERSEPHONE
Animal: Bear
Color: Green
Alright a little variety going on here LOL Persephone would be an intereting Goddess to reflect. She was taken from her mother, Demeter, by Hades to the underworld. Dememter made a deal with Hades to get Persephone back so many months out of the year. When Demeter is missing her daugher we have fall and winter and when Persephone is with her mother we have spring and summer. That is the quicky version of the story.
I got Artemis! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
OK - I guess I'm the oddball here;
YOU ARE APHRODITE
Animal: Dove
Color: red
Aphrodite is the beautiful goddess of love and passion. She is one of the most influential of the Greek gods, constantly being prayed to or asked for help. She is also a troublemaker, getting involved in all sorts of love triangles. Aphrodite is the Goddess that all young girls pray to, to bring them the man of their dreams.
Aphrodite is admired and sought after for the freshness that she represents. She often dives into situations that seem appealing without thinking the results through, but can usually charm herself out of any sticky situations.
Aphrodite formed from the sea foam, emerging as an adult from the ocean.
(Funny, I sure don't FEEL like the most beautiful of goddesses!)
I think the server's having a slight hiccough again, so I can't do the quiz. I know I identify most with Persephone (my dark side) and Hera (my light side) though. So I'll let you know later if I'm right!
YOU ARE HERA
Animal: Peacock
Color: Gold
Oh Jengirl - Yea, Another trouble maker like myself. <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
Wendy - Somehow it doesn't surprise me that you are Hera; you always sound so regal in all of your posts! <img src="/images/graemlins/queen.gif" alt="" />
HERA
Animal: Peacock (I have peacock feathers upstairs.)
Color: Gold
Hera is a goddess of strength and power. She is both beautiful and intelligent. Although at first an unwilling bride to the great Zeus, ruler of the Gods, she soon became a strong partner in that marriage and well respected by all of the gods. She is the earth goddess, representing fertility. She watches over the crops, the flocks and herds of animals.
Hera represents all stages of womanhood - from the nervous young bride, to the wife that gains strength, to the woman in childbirth.
Hera's life hasn't been easy. Zeus is not an easy man to live with. Hera has her bouts of jealousy and can be vindictive, but Zeus is the cause for both of these emotions. Hera does the best with what she has, and is respected for that.
I'm still convinced that Hera was more powerful than Zeus, and was actually the ruler of the gods...
<I'm still convinced that Hera was more powerful than Zeus, and was actually the ruler of the gods>
Well we women are actually in control....we just let the men believe they are LOL
Jeanette
She was definitely more intelligent than Zeus!
(Of course he had a tendency to think with the wrong head most of the time.) <img src="/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />
I am just another Artemis.
YAY I am ATHENA
Animal: Owl
Color: Blue
Athena is one of the most powerful goddesses in Greek mythology. She was born from the head of Zeus. Zeus - father of all gods, and Metis - the titan of wisdom, had conceived a child. Zeus was worried about this child becoming more powerful than he was. He had the pregnant Metis turned into a fly and ate her. However, he later developed an incredibly powerful headache. He asked another god to bash him in the head to cure it, and out popped Athena, fully armored.

I am Athena too!
Maybe I should go visit Athens now that I know it's my namesake.
Funny, though, I've never been all that fond of blue or owls.
I am Athena too. Yeah. My alma mater's mascot is the owl and we have quite a "cult" of Athena too so I am pleased to be deemed her.
I've always like blue and owls as well.
A quiz I took somewhere else called me Hestia which makes no sense. I am caretaker in spirit but not exactly a domestic diva.
So there IS another answer! I too thought Artemis was the only answer as that was me as well. Does it describe the others anywhere or only when you take the quiz?
I am Astarte...
But I don't believe it...
I'm convinced I'm actually Balloonia, Goddess of the Michelin tyre....
I have the perfect figure, shape and height... and I float....
I'm Athena. She has one incredible birth story! <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Athena is one of the most powerful goddesses in Greek mythology. She was born from the head of Zeus. Zeus - father of all gods, and Metis - the titan of wisdom, had conceived a child. I am Artemis too.
The story of the birth of Athena is why when people say how much my son is like his father, I reply he came straight out of his forehead.
Well, I'm told I'm Demeter, but I think that was only during my homemaking - mothering stage. I'm more Hestia deep in my soul, being very private and preferring the back row seat to quietly watch and observe.
I'm Thatcher, the goddess of beards*
* it's true, look it up if you don't beleive me
Guinevere- or more accurately in Welsh Gwenhwyfar, the White Phantom, one of the faery folk. Arthur weds her to claim his land as she is goddess of the kingdom, but her heart belongs to Launcelot her faery lover & true soulmate. Some link her Avalon to modern day Glastonbury now, she's also been connected to Caer Sidi, the faery fortress.
Artemis <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
YOU ARE DEMETER
Animal: Cow
Color: Light brown
Demeter is a mother figure, one of the most "reachable" goddesses. She is a goddess of fertility and crops, associated with grain and bread.
Demeter's daughter Persephone was stolen by Hades. Furious, Demeter caused the natural crop cycle to be disrupted until Hades finally returned her daughter.
Demeter is strong and loving, willing to do what has to be done in order to protect her loved ones.
It figures that a cooking editor would be a goddess of crops and associated with grain and bread! Snorty!
YOU ARE HEBE
animal:bird
color:burgandy
