It will come as no surprise to most people to learn that there is some anger in Europe directed towards current U.S. foreign policy. But most American travelers in Europe still feel warmly embraced by European locals -- who seem to be able to draw a clear distinction between American visitors and the policies of their government.

Have you experienced any anti-American sentiment while traveling in Europe?

I have not encountered any difficulties in traveling around and living in Western Europe and the UK.

I traveled many parts of Europe and the only city I encountered anybody showing their dislikes toward me was in London. It was a few older gentleman in a pub. I place blame on the alcohol for their actions.
