I searched the boards for someone who may have written on this topic - but came up with nothing. I am a stay at home mom married to a workaholic. I need support and encouragment. This is a topic that people do not understand. There are women who "wish" their spouse would work more. Nobody would wish to have a workaholic spouse. It is like being alone all the time. It's hard to explain. It may be good for me to write about it. For no other reason, it may help me to know what to do. The Serenity Prayer is my lifeline.

Try talking to your husband and explain how you feel. If you are married to someone that cares about you, he will want to do things that help your marriage for both your sake.

It's good for you to think of things you can do to help the situation, and do things that make you happy and take care of yourself. Only good can come from this. You can also talk with a counselor on your own, or together with your husband.

Hugs smile
