I just learnt that the Central Florida Visitors Bureau and the Polk County Natural Resources divisions are putting on Polk NatureFest from October 6 - 9, 2011.
I shall be attending the (free!)Boktoberfest celebrations at Bok Gardens, Lake Wales on October 15,2011 with all things German plus the beautiful gardens and singing tower.
Legoland is also opening that weekend at the former Cypress Gardens.
Anyone know of any other events in Florida during October?
