"Beirut", a period thriller that stars Jon Hamm, will open in theaters on Wednesday. Hamm plays a diplomat called back into service when an American operative is kidnapped during the civil war in Lebanon, circa 1982. Rosamund Pike plays a CIA agent in charge of the operation.
