I spend most of my time home, alone. Even so I have managed to learn and experience God in special ways. Each day when I cook, clean and work on time, I know it is God who enables me with strength. I see His hand in everything I do though it may look mundane. To confirm my belief I read this quote

"...the greatest and deepest spiritual truth always meets us in the small practical matters of everyday common life." - Amy Carmichael

Do you agree with this? What have you learnt out the commonness of daily living?

Hi Preena, So true. I drive about 30 minutes to work M thru F. On my way there and back I like to look at the sky and it's beauty. In the afternoon today there were gray clouds all around, but a small opening in the clouds with the sun's rays shining through. Just reminds me that God is always there and reaching down to us with the sunrays. So pretty and so comforting to know He's always there!! All we have to do is look around to find Him in the sky, the trees, mountains, beaches and trees. So simple, yet difficult at times in this world we live in.
Hi Freeatlast,

You are so right. Nature is always a reminder of God's hand and yet we don't always pause to realize this. I am so glad that you have been experiencing His goodness through your drive and it is so comforting to know that He is always there.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience in finding God in the ordinary things of life!

Preena
