I have two email accounts one personal and one to use when I sign up for newsletters.

I am currently going through and cleaning up newsletters that I subscribe to. I find that instead of actually being a newsletter, some are just an advertisement to sell a book or other product. I've decided that if they are not offering useful information and just used to sell me something, they are pointless - unsubscribe.

That's what I love about BellaOnline newsletters, they are not full of advertisements to purchase things.
