What is your favorite myth, and why?

Well actually every myth there is because I like it when there are things that we can't explain or have example's. It's all so mysterious. But I think most of all the sunken city of Atlantis.

I think the lure of forgotten cities is one of my favorites. And the fact that these cities may actually exist makes it even more interesting.

I'd have to say Lemuria and Atlantis are among my faves. To have a few continents disappear is just to interesting.

I like the story told by the autumn constellations, that of Perseus, Andromeda and Medusa. Oh yeah, and Pegasus, the winged horse.

Remember the 1981 movie, Clash of the Titans?

I like wolf stories, specifically the one told in Women Who Run With the Wolves: Myths and Stories of the Wild Woman Archetype by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Ph.D.

I have always been fascinated with Merlyn. There really was a Merlyn, but whether or not all the stories are myths or exaggerations of truth is a mystery.
