Hi,Does anyone know of a solution to ants getting in your hummingbird fedder,they climb the pole and get in the sugar water solution.I tryed the vaseline on the pole,but that did not work.

Good question. I don't remember ever having that problem when I used to have hummingbird feeders, but then I realized that we always hung the feeder from something (usually from a hanger attached to the window frame) instead of having it on a pole.

It seems to me that the vaseline should work - or maybe some double sided tape. You might get more people who would have experience with this problem in the birding forum though - instead of the pet bird forum.
