I love watching scary movies this time of year, but I'm pretty particular. I don't like scary movies that are just blood and gore. I like a really good story!

My faves are generally:
The Conjuring (1 & 2)
A Haunting in Connecticut
An American Haunting
Insidious (all of them)
Paranormal Activity (all of them)
Practical Magic
Hocus Pocus

I'm getting sort of bored with some of them, just because I've seen them so much.

I'll probably find some Stephen King to add to my list.

I'm not into the real graphic stuff. I just posted a review of a silent film that is a bit campy, but is fun to watch during the Halloween season. The Eyes of the Mummy Film Review I also like the 1979 version of "Dracula" starring Frank Langella, and Francis Ford Coppola's over-the-top baroque "Bram Stoker's Dracula" from 1992.
