I picked the WRONG yarn and the WRONG hook to make the cocoon sweater. I thought it was worsted weight but it was sports weight <img src="/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> so rip it rip it and I am starting over with a bigger hook. See I am not perfekt, I just got so darn excited about making one that I didn't pay attention.

**Sticking my tongue out at you** hehehehehehe. Well it was my own fault, I almost just kept going and was going to just give it to my niece but I like the color so "rip it rip it" .

I'm glad I read this post because I looked on the pattern I printed out and it said worsted weight. Now I know to get sports weight. I think I copied off the directions from the link to the corrected version of the cocoon sweater but I think it was called a Polish sweater there. Did I copy the wrong one???

You are suppose to use WORSTED WEIGHT !!!! The yarn I grabbed out was Sports Weight and that is why I had to start over.

DUH! Thanks, I read your post completely wrong. I had gotten some lovely blue that I was going to start it but was holding off so I could find it in sport weight. I am easily confused????? Can ya tell?
