Faith Challenged

If it wasn't for my faith in God I never would've made it this far. There have been times of deep despair in my life. I've felt very alone, disconnected, and lost. Somehow I always managed to find my faith in my darkest hour, again and again, and I prayed. By then my faith was hanging by a thin thread but I had no other option. I always learn after being in the pit that no matter what I fail at or what negativity comes my way, in the end there really is no other option but my faith to lean on. I can't make it without Him and I have to give up control and let Him take over. Fighting against what I cannot change makes no sense. I need to leave it in God's hands.

Nothing else in my life has such significance as my faith, especially in times of turmoil. My faith certainly has been challenged over and over again but I never turn my back on it. It is because of my faith that I can carry on and survive what comes my way. Life can be very challenging, and I know I can't do it alone.

Thank you for your comment Debbie. I have to agree with you. If it was not for my faith, I never would have made it. I know at times my faith was lacking, but the trials and tribulations made me stronger and allowed my faith to grow.
