I'm just starting to get into candle making i've been crazy about candles since I was old enough to light them myself. So I finally decided to try making them and I was wondering of any one would have any suggestion as to were I could get some good fragrance oil.(Something strong and that will fill the room) I've been trying to do my homework and looking at several different sites but i'm not sure which ones are the best so I was hoping that I could get some good tips. Thanks.
I've had a candle biz for 5 years and use wonderful oils from Natures Garden, they are wonderful. You do need a business license and state ID number to order (I believe that's still the case)But it would be worth a try, that may have been for tax reasons.... and I have had rave reviews about my candles. I only make about 3 batches a year now for some die hard fans, myself and my family. It takes a lot of time as with anything to manufacture etc. as a biz but I hear ya, I love candles too, that's what prompted me to make my own. So do check out Natures Garden online and see if you can order through them and let me know what you think about them.....Good luck!! smile naturesgardencandles.com

Check out www.texascandlesupply.net, their oils are the strongest.
I use www.scentforum.com they have where you can put in a fragrance and the company it was bought from and it shows if there is a good scent throw or not. I find the website useful.
Eika produces good fragrance oils
There are many wonderful suppliers out there. I recommend buying only 1 oz of the fragrance you want to try to start with. what if you end up hating it and are stuck with 16 oz of it? Everyone's nose is different, what I may think is a good strength scent may knock someone else on their butt! The average cost of a good scent oil is about 2.50 per ounce. If it is WAY cheaper than that, I might question why. They may of used more cutting agents than fragrance oil and it may take you 3 times as much to get a scent. If it is much higher than that, I would check into that also. I paid I think 3$$ at Hobby Lobby for 1/2 an ounce of fragrance oil that didn't have a scent throw for nothing.
