Anime News Network is reporting that an announcement was made that a new anime adaptation of the Sailor Moon anime series, and that the series is expected to come out in Summer 2013. The new adaptation is being produced to celebrate Sailor Moon's 20th anniversary.

Kodansha editor Fumio Osano says that the anime staff is intending to release the anime worldwide simultaneously.
