Serendipity seems to happen when I'm on the wine trail...
An overnight stop on a long drive from Portland, Oregon to San Francisco, a tourist leaflet in the motel lobby and spur of the moment decision to visit the winery on the leaflet - which I'd never heard of.....
Then when I arrived being mistaken for a group member who'd been delayed..
Result = standing in an 800 year-old Cistercian Chapter House... in a California vineyard!
