Ok might as well ask since I started a thread about SG-1. Do we have any fans of Atlantis on here? Do you think this series is better, worse, or just the same old same old as SG-1?

I like both of them, but I love the idea of Atlantis. Its a great premise for a storyline as far as I am concerned.

The first season just finished a couple of weeks ago and I'm hooked!
This is not a SG-1 underwater. It has a different energy to it as well as very different characters and many more of them which adds a lot of diversity to the show.
I am waiting with baited breath for the new season to begin.

I could not get into Atlantis, I tried but the wraiths are scary and ugly and I think that turned me off. I gave it my best shot.

I can't get enough of Stargate. The history lessons alone in understanding the various civilizations and the likeness' they bring on the episodes is exciting. Also, I agree with Sandy, in that the idea of a city like Atlantis out there is intriging. sp...
