The Dead Zone, on the USA network, is a new show I've really gotten into, being a " huge " Stephen King fan.

There's a new episode every Sunday, at 10PM. Thats all I've caught so far, but the listings seem to suggest a rerun of the new episode quite often.

Summer so far has been busy for me, but with the kids softball season coming to a close, I hope to catch up on what I've missed of The Dead Zone. It doesn't follow the SK book but certainly has a "Stephen King" ring to it...

Thank you....yes, I knew about "The Dead Zone" coming, I just haven't had a chance to watch yet!

You can check out an episode guide, info on the actors and characters at:
http://www.usanetwork.com/series/thedeadzone

I do have this link listed on the SciFi TV page under the 'Cable/SciFi' link along with Showtime's "Odyssey 5". Maybe I should move it forward!!!!

As always, thanks for visiting!

Kitty

Hi Kitty...thanks so much for the link. I love the way the USA network does encore presentations. They seem to be one of the few who realize viewers can't always catch the first showing. I think this is the same network that did that with "Roots". I think I'll e-mail them and express my appreciation...

I'm still learning my way around this site (and my computer, for that matter  ) so I didn't catch the link already posted. Thanks for pointing it out.

So far, I haven't missed an episode of The Dead Zone. My husband's actually getting into it too. I think it's really really good show. They do rerun the first episode quite a bit. But, I don't care. I'll watch it again.

June 10th, E! had an episode called True Hollywood Story - Sixteen Candles and they talked about Anthony Michael Hall, Molly Ringwald and other actors from Sixteen Candles. Their successes and their downfalls. At the end, he talked about how he's been trying to make a comeback and I think he's done it with The Dead Zone .

Hi BoxOffice...I agree. I loved last weeks episode, "Enigma". I thought they did a really nice job of capturing the essence of World War 2, with the USO clubs and all. "Johnny" actually took on a whole different look, when he projected himself back to that era. The producers did a great job of casting and I truly enjoy the show.

Hi ladies!!!

Okay, I have decided to create an article on one of your fav topics, "The Dead Zone" -- wooo hooo!

So, please email me with your impression of the show - in ONE word. Your favorite characteristics of the show and why. Also, how do you answer to those fuddy-duddies who say it is a horror clone to "SLiders"???

The USA Network is making groundbreaking history with the website for the show as well. They are publishing the complete screenplay on the site that you can download. This has not been done in this way before. Also, they deliver much more in-depth character synopses, bios, etc. What do YOU think about the site?

Let me know....I am type, type, typing away on this one! THANK YOU!

Kitty
