I have just finished my four-part series on file organization. When I originally started to write the first article I was not planning on it being a four part series - just one article about organizing files. But as I started to write, I realized that not everyone may be familiar enough with hard drives, drive letters, directories or folders to jump in and start organizing.

Excellent advice, Allison. As a genealogist, recipe collector, wishful thinker on other topics, I have a number of directories collecting my articles. I also print articles to PDF and save them accordingly as well. As a collector though, it can get out of hand.
