My 16 yr old son was all freaked out today, because he had forgotten his CD's, and my satellite radio is on the fritz.
So he had to look through my CD case. And got a very big shock.
He thought because I've been playing so much classical music to review, that was all I listened to. But I have hard rock, rap, pop, Latin, new age... just about everything except country (although there I do have one Faith Hill CD - so I'm even covered there.)
So what other types of music do you guys listen to? Or are you a die-hard, classical music only fan?

I love classical music but my fave genre is Classic Rock. I was always kind of partial to 70's Top 40 stuff as well. As far as country goes, I like Classic country, (Johnny Cash, Jim Reeves, Waylon Jennings, Roy Clark, et al)
Of course my favorite, all time favorite is Elvis.
It's funny because the oldies station I listen to plays Kasey Casem's American Top 40 every Sunday from the 70's. It's cool hearing stuff like: Moving up two notches this week is Stevie Wonder with Superstition.

70's definitely. I can listen to classical as long as it is fast moving. I like show tunes and some country.
Oak Ridge Boys, Dolly, Reba, Sonny and Cher.......
I also remember playing my Osmond Brothers record and having my parents say, "That isn't music..."....I wonder what they would say about Metallica....

lol Robin. Or maybe Marilyn Manson?
After hearing those I am willing to bet that your parents would love the Osmonds.

Man, I love the seventies music alot. But I am also enjoying some of the new stuff. Like right now, I am downloading the song "Paralyzing" by Fingers Eleven.
They always play it right before the boys basketball games at the highschool for them to warm up to and boy does it ever get everyone pumped up. It's an awesome song.

I LOVE "Paralyzer" - it is a great song!
My daughter does competitive cheerleading, so I've been hearing a lot of dance, pop, and hip/hop music lately. I just had to buy the soundtrack to "Step Up 2" and "Low" by Flo-Rida has become THE song around our house lately.

I do not choose music with the types, if I hear a song I love then I love it, the same goes with if I hear a song I hate then I hate it, it does not matter what type of song it is.
