Looks like this group, as many has come and gone. Sorry more people did not like it, I did. I may have to find another.

I hope you come back, and often, Mike. I still have that picture of the Polish church you posted in one of the threads on this forum. I was thinking I would draw it on muslin and embroider it. The original painting, or sketch was done by Pawell Stellar. I would love to see more of his work. Do you know of any others he did?

Oh! I thought you had done that. Anyway, it is a lovely painting and I would like to find more by the same artist. I will have to see if I can find that post again. Here is the painting:

Like I said in the past, this is the end of this site. It has been good well it lasted.

Once again, I say, I am so sorry to see this group fall apart, no one even looks at it, let alone post any more. Why is this? This was, and can be, again, a great site, just start posting again.

Christmas is coming up, Mike. Why don't you start a new thread on Christmas traditions in Poland. I would love to learn more about that. I remember one tradition was to spread straw on the floor. Why was that done and when? Christmas Eve?
Ok - I will start a thread titled Christmas Traditions in Poland.

Mike, don't be so pesimistic:))) I am sure there will be more posts with time.
I, myself, prefer to post when I feel like or want to say something, more than post just for the fact of posting. I must say that I am generally not forums-blogs-onlinesites usual guest:) I don't even have any that I visit regularly:(
