If you have been unemployed for awhile, have you started any hobbies to spend your time while you're not job searching?

If you just became unemployed, are there any hobbies or interests that you want to pursue?

A lot of people have been able to generate some income from their hobbies.

Personally, I have always loved reading books and last year while I was going through a very toxic relationship (which I have left) - I had started to contact authors of job hunting books to see if anyone would give me a free copy in exchange for reviewing and promoting them.

LOL, little did I know that since leaving my toxic relationship in June of this year that I would be getting online work from 2 of these authors.

Life has a way of giving you just what you need when you move on to the next phase of your journey instead of allowing being unemployed to keep you as a victim.

I have spent most of my time on the internet and my brain is becoming more and more lazy! The first year I was walking almost every day but when Summer came so did the insects and I have a phobia of spiders and here they come out during Winter so you can imagine how it's like in Summer so I went back to my good computer and since then I only walk during Winter and some parts of Autumn and Spring (not everyday...the last walk was a small walk a few night ago). I'm planning on either go on daily walks then do other things than internet at night or learn how to swim or learn German or go back to school. I received a Nintendo Wii as a gift and it's not even plugged in, that I think would be better than to spend hours in front of my computer like I've been doing since 2010.
