Hi Jason!

I loved your recent article on cranberry sauces. I think I'm going to try the brown sugar variation soon.

Do you have a a favorite?

Thanks so much! smile

Hi Brandii!

Thanks for the comment! I don't really have a favorite one... and this may sound a bit out there, but they're like my kids. I don't love anyone more, the same, or less, because each one has it's own personality that I appreciate and love about it as an individual adding it's own flavor to the mix.

I love the plain when I'm in the mood for the traditional memories that accompany it's flavor.

I love the brown sugar/pineapple version when I'm in the mood for more earthy flavors to kick up the appeal of a borderline neutral protein-rich meal, something needing contrast and a flavor boost.

I like the Lemon Maple one when I'm eating heavier, more bold flavored foods more savory in nature.

I like the Lime Maple version when I'm working with a seafood theme.

I like the cranberry raisin when I'm looking for a little more mellow sweet 'pop' to the stringent, puckered zing of the cranberry.

I like the cardamom/dried plum rendition of the sauce for savory meatloaves and fragrant grain dishes.

All of that said... If they ware all in front of me to choose, I would choose them all and have a cranberry smorgasbord on my plate to choose from. I would not discriminate. They all have the ability to take whatever dish you're eating them with in a very unique direction [in a good way].

I hope that answered your question.

Try them all and let us know what you think each one and how you added them to your meal(s) wink
