I entered your question in Google search box and found this website...looks very helpful. quilting Bug

I think it depends on each individual. Some quilt with a machine and others (myself) start from scratch and do all by hand. I also took a quilting class and then used tips I picked up along the way that I felt helpful. There is a quilting show on PBS and go to quilt shows to see up close and personal. I made 2 only ......my first was a sampler and the other a baby quilt. Now I would like to make a miniature quilt.

Yes, I agree with rdywenur, there are many great quilting videos out there. You might be more accurate in googling the exact thing you want to learn. For instance, you might want to know how to bind a quilt. If you google that you'll get a very succinct video to teach you. Likewise, if you want to learn how to chain piece, and so forth. Good luck!
Cheerio for now

I love patchworking, but hate quilting--I tried to figure it out from reading a book and it hasn't been absolutely satisfactory. I have quilts that have been languishing for so long that I was scarcely using the internet at the time I started, but this has been a helpful idea. I've had a quick look at some videos from the link you recommended and I think it's time to get the quilts out of the cupboard! Thank you.
