I made a single quilt block many years ago and now I don't remember what it was called. It appears to be a variation of an Ohio star. The center is not a solid square it has eight triangles. It also uses diamonds pieced to look like a bird and creates a ring of birds, nose to tail and then large squares in the four corners. I thought it was flying geese but after research it doesn't look like any of the flying geese patterns. I'm almost positive it has "birds" of some sort in its name. Please help!
