I finally got my tea shelf organized so I took a photo for you guys! This is right over my microwave - that's how we make our tea water.

What does your tea pile look like?

Well it used to be pure chaos and finally we sat down and tried to sort it out since we do tend to have tea every day. Mostly I have the honey vanilla chamomile, or the chanakara.

Ooo, great photo and idea! You do have a lot of tea. lol. It's fun to have many yummy choices. :-)

Do you have any loose tea? Somehow all my teas are loose teas, collected from when I lived near TeaVanna. I have a Moroccan Mint, German Chamomile, A Roobius, A Chai, and several flavored white teas.

I bought some loose tea when I bought my palantir but that's the only place I have ever seen it. And now that I have it, I've never tried it because it seems like such a royal pain to get out the tea ball, pry it open, use it, wash it, etc. With the bags I just plunk them in the mug, hit the button on the microwave, and am done smile

I hate tea balls. I just use a filter i set on top of the mug, then let it dry and then dump out the dry leaves to my compost. No washing. It's awesome. And loose tea is better than bagged, IMHO. More subtle flavors, unless you steep them too long.

Yup, I prefer loose tea too, the leaves are more intact. Usually ... they say only the left-over tea leaves (after selecting all the leaves for loose tea) are made into tea-bags ... :(( BUT, I have lots of tea bags too, for convenience. ;p

Darlin', you need to buy a Finum filter - it looks like a mesh glass, you either plunk it in a mug or pot, brew the tea, take it out and put it on something so it doesn't stan your counter and you're good to go.

My carera is not working properly and when it does I can post a pic. (my son is going to try to fix/look at it it this weekend)

Readers share your tea pantry, tea shelf, or tea container with us we'd love to see!
