If you're shy, you may be at a disadvantage in the job market. Did you know that over half of the jobs are never advertised in the paper or on the Internet? Have you ever heard of the phrase "it's all in who you know?" Well it's true!
The majority of jobs today are found through professional networking. If you're shy and you're doing most of your searching on the Internet, you better step out of your comfort zone.
