Recently my husband's father came to visit. They were spending some quality father/son time.
Along came the "Elephant" in the room, I suppose...Me? I've seen it, like the stuff we (here) can't see - so I get it.
But for the first time, my husband's father said, "You're still Catholic aren't you?"
(BTW - I'm pro anything positive, love, marriage of all sects, ect.) He said, it felt like coming out of the closet??? I know what he meant, though.
The father seemed to think the terms intertwine. I never thought about it that way.
Does anyone have examples of the differences? And shouldn't belief in anything come at one's own pace?
Otherwise it's like, to me anyway, you're just going through the motions to tell people what they want to hear...
What do other people think?
