What are your three favorite places to shop? What places do get the most patronage from your hard earned money?

For me:
1. Amazon (by far!)
2. Goodwill thrift stores
3. CVS drugstores

Other stores I end up in: Walmart, ACE Hardware, ALCO, and the Dollar Tree. I do try to avoid Walmart if at all possible, unless I am RV traveling (they do provide free overnight parking, so i try to support them when I travel).

I try to go where I have some kind of loyalty card or rewards program. I wish there was something like it for Amazon.

Why are those stores your favorites? What makes you a repeat customer?

My three favorite stores are not located where I live so I can't go shop there anymore. There's an Ardene (its an accessory store...mostly jewelry) in Rimouski which is more than one hour away, next month a neighbor of mine has to go there and she invited me so I'll be able to go there and to many more stores, plus, I'll be able to also eat at a real restaurant for a nice change (as far as restaurants goes theres a McDonald's [my fave] and a Subway...the rest kinda suck). My three favorite stores have great merchandises and prices and that's why I like them.

Nancy, great prices and merchandise are two very good reasons to patronize a store, i totally agree.

How is their service and return policies? Those are also things i look for in a favorite store.

Never had to return a merchandise from these three stores so I don't know about that. As for the service I never had bad service in any Carlton but there was a few people in the Simons I went to that were not really made for working in the public and there was one Ardene store in Montreal where everyone there always looked angry (thats the main problem here in the few stores we have...they are not public people and they look mad at you for daring to ask them to work when you ask for something or want to pay).

My favorites:

WalMart....because the prices are good for nonperishable foods, household needs, and prescriptions

Stop & Shop....my local and convenient supermarket

Ocean State Job Lot....a cheaper store for things like olive oil, books, designer bath soaps

The Dollar Tree.....for cheap everyday goods like toothbrushes, pump hand soap, picture frames, greeting cards

Trader Joe's.....for the occasional unique food or treat in a fun place to shop

Oh, right, Debbie! Trader Joes! Love them. And the Dollar Tree.

Still addicted to CVS and Goodwill and Amazon.
