I always remember a delicious cranberry salad and two types of pies for dessert--one pumpkin, and one chocolate. Of course, everything was delicious, but for some reason, those three items stand out in my mind.

I'll be sharing my grandmother's chocolate pie recipe in an upcoming article. I loved helping her prepare the pie, and if you've got kids that love to cook, it's very fun and "grown up" recipe for them to try as well. Not to mention, it's just plain fun to eat.

What are your favorite Thanksgiving Dinner (or Lunch) memories, either as a child or an adult? Was there a special item that was only served at Thanksgiving?

Oooh. You can never have too many recipes for chocolate pie. My great-aunt's version is up on the chocolate site but i want yours too! Because there cannot be enough chocolate in a person's life.

I always thought that Thanksgiving was the best holiday of the year because it was all about food and family and blessings. Christmas can sometimes be overwhelming but Thanksgiving is just right.
