Can you share one thing you did today for help your marital relationship?

Can you do one thing every day to bring your spouse a little joy?

A wise man once gave my husband financial advice that went: "If you pay attention to the nickels, the dollars take care of themselves." That can be said of marriages, too. Ensure the everyday little joys in your mate's life and the marriage will take care of itself. Those daily small but meaningful joys are what I put first.

Today I tied my husband's tie for him.

It is possible to be a strong independent woman AND a domestic goddess too. You don't have to choose.

I SO agree w/that!!

Today, I felt like...just bad - back. Took 2 hrs. to myself then went and sat w/him and asked how his work day went. He was playing something called "Mindcraft?"

I love ROLLER-COASTERS! I just do.

Well, he had built a castle and within the castle he put a roller coaster! He hates them, lol.

Had I not gone down - pushed my own physical feelings aside (My "creative/tranquil" room is upstairs), I'd never have seen the castle.

It was one where (well who knows how the male mind works...but I try) and I'm pretty sure men are like "Who knows how the 'female' mind works." smile

But his castle incorporated both the things he liked as well as mine.

It was pretty cool! He even put in a fireplace and an ocean.

Perpetual emathy is all I can say. IT WORKS! wink

Wow...a rollercoaster, a fireplace AND an ocean in a castle...that's so cool!!! I once decorated a room with some virtual program, it was fun!

Ya...

He's kind of having a hard time w/my brain stuff, but when I see him frustrated, I (was gonna say always) but I pretty much try every single day.

That's was commitment is - to me, no matter how small, you know?

So, basically, I'm not going to be able to play his role-playing, games or virtual's/3rd person. I'm trying to learn what terns his mind on and actually he appreciates it and so it kind of works like Ying-Yang.

Like anything positive, you've got to know, especially when it comes to relationships, of any kind (from partnerships, marriage, business, politics, love, kids, family, etc.), the differences between:

"The Tone"

From there, all you got to do is, balance smile

You ladies ROCK! Your spouses are fortunate to have you as a wife!

Let's see, today I made him a tall glass of low-sodium V8 juice with freshly cracked black pepper and a slice of fresh lemon, along with a luscious blueberry muffin. laugh

The side dishes include a long hug and a passionate kiss!

This is a tough time for him at work and when the week is over, I planned a great Date Night for him to relax.
