I thought that in conjunction with U.S. Thanksgiving it would be nice to look at some Buddhist Perspectives on Gratitude. I think the one I like the most (although the most challenging) is gratitude for our difficulties, as these are what propels our growth.

It's true isn't it? It's our challenges that most often shift us the most, offer the most opportunity for growth. Not often easy to feel that in the moment of course, but I think I'm getting better at it - a combination of aging and spiritual seeking.

It is so true, that what challenges us makes us stronger. It helps us to grow!

Certainly for example I am glad I am no longer with my ex.
