I think I did pretty well. I didn't buy all kinds of goodies except for a quart of eggnog, and I didn't make or bake anything holiday related. I also didn't overfill my plate when dining, and I limited myself on the sweets, only having a few. I tried to stick to my normal eating habits and it really helped to keep things under control. I sampled some of the holiday specialties, but only in small amounts.
