What are some of your favorite sequels and which ones do you think should never have been made?

I think the Matrix sequels should not have been made. The original movie was fantastic - the other two made little to no sense.

On the other end of the spectrum The Lord of the Rings trilogy was a triumph - all three movies were needed to pull off the story telling. (Although I am extremely confused as to why they need 3 movies to tell the story of The Hobbit)

Hi Chelle! I agree with you about the Matrix sequels. I thought the first one was awesome but the other two really tedious and fell short of what the original was. Now the Lord of the Rings trilogy, I thought was great! The second one, The Two Towers, I thought was the weakest of the three, but it was still good. And my inner Sean Bean fan will always favor the first one! LOL!
