Not my predicament, but something I have been pondering.

I know that every person's body reacts differently etc, but I wanted to get a consensus...

Have any ladies here with a tattoo on their back...say mid thoracic to sacrum area...who had a baby after that tattoo? I am wondering if at all and how badly the tat was affected by stretching.

I also refuse to call it a 'tramp stamp' because I am not getting one of those and I am far from my stupid college years, I am not however out of my childbearing years or completely decided on breeding or not.

Thanks in advance!

Wendy,

Find out how having a baby effected women in your family, as your genetic heritage is the best clues to things like stretch marks. That part of the body doesn't change as much with weight gain, and that's part of why it's so popular a spot for tattoos with women.

Rubbing the skin with cocoa butter daily and drinking lots of water is helpful for keeping it supple and smooth so that it can stretch if it has to. That was the advice I received when I asked a former co-worker who had a full torso (front, sides, back) of a corset and then got pregnant about her experience.
