Deb - I actually thought about that for a long while too. But it really does come down to the people you hang out with. If your friends and family eat a certain way you think of it as completely normal and never question it. Heck, you might be eating less than they do and think you're doing quite well!
It's why finding friends who eat healthy can be so key in your own being healthy. If your friends all get salads and grilled food, it might make you think twice about your triple-potato main dish with a side of potatoes
